Fulfilling one of his childhood dreams, Phillip Phillips was on hand to perform at the 2012 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night (July 10). The “American Idol” winner performed his single “Home” to a riveted crowd at the Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, MO and afterwards he tweeted, “Wow that was awesome! Hahha.” The 21-year-old singer appeared to be in good health after recently undergoing kidney surgery and showed his support for the National League sharing, “National!!!!!!!!!,” quickly adding, “Chipper is the man! He was my favorite ball player when i played.” He could barely contain his excitement pre-performance and wrote, “This is pretty awesome!
